Anyone interested in a complete TH400 setup for a GN/Ttype?

All you have to do is to add a transbrake if you want a transbrake.

We are talking:

TH400 <1000 miles or so on rebuild
Art Carr 9" converter
3" steel driveshaft
Frame crossover for said trans
Transmission cooler and rubber lines
B&M Megashifter Brand New
HR poly trans mount

$1500 for the entire setup. This setup came out of a car running 6.6x in the 1/8 mile before being wrecked.

You can add a CK performance transbrake for another $350-400ish and have a complete competition setup for a fraction of new cost.

I would consider a reputably built 2004r BRF or core in partial trade.

I am in San Antonio, TX would consider delivering to DFW or Houston or at Pinks All Out here next weekend.

Thanks,
John

What stall is the converter? I am still kind of new, but have been considering this swap for my new engine build. Any info on the trans. builder, and is there anything else needed to make the swap? Can the stock style shifter be used?

I'm really inclined not to ship.

The guy I got this from was using his stock column shifter, so I think that works just fine. The trans was built by a shop in Garland,TX. Builds transmission for Prostreet motorsports guys.

I believe that someone does make a different shifter plate that can be installed so that our stock shifters work. This megashifter can fit under a stock console just fine.

If you are in Moore, OK. I can have it delivered a week from Sunday, i'm sure for a small fee.

what stall is the converter? Also, would you be interested in my original 200 from my car as a partial trade?

If you want you could also give me a call, cause I have a few other questions. 405-922-0055

I don't know the exact stall, but was told it was 34-3600ish. It was used to spool a non bb 71GTQ.

Builder - I only know that he was in Garland, TX (DFW).

Yes, I'm looking for a 2004r, but don't expect top dollar unless it is a fresh high HP unit and hopefully not a super high mileage unit. Billet parts aren't necessary.

Bump.. Ok..

I am motivated to move this and will ship it and give a $100 towards shipping. But buyer has to help me setup how to ship it. I do have a GM plastic crate for the trans already. Just don't know who to use..etc..etc..
