A TH400 was never put in any g-body. The 2004r crossmember will work, you probably know all of this. You can either buy a dual exhaust crossmember from Summit, etc, or use a 2004r crossmember and buy the mount extension. Summit sells those as well. I am sure there are other sources though.

wait, i can just buy a mount extension and then use a stock 200-4r xmember?

Yes, the mount length is about the same, barley different. I think there might be a slight height difference when using the stock mount. HR sells a conversion mount. What it does, I am not sure. I am using a stock crossmember that was modified to use a center mount. The TH350, 200, 250 have a mount that is further foward.

Claude, Looks like the 4L80E mount is 3-7/16" farther back compared to the 2004R mount location>> Automatic Transmission Identification so some Mods would be needed.
Iceman/Rick could make one for a 4L80E, could just add a longer mount pad on a 2004R C-member or weld the mount pad on opposite side of center bar if it wont interfere with Trans case/tail.

$99 from HR Parts and Stuff for a TH400 specific mount, or if you already have the HR 2004R mount, then just drill a new hole in the plate and bolt her up. I did the latter.
