Just bought a 87 gn with a th400 reverse manuel valvebody, 8inch torque converter with 4400 stall would like some info on using this setup on street dont know how streetable or if i need a trans cooler

You really need a trans cooler if your running 4400 stall. It will be a pain with it being a manual valve body to drive on the street.

definately put a cooler on it. i also have a 400 with a high stall and i drive it with ease on the street.

A large/thick Cooler is needed for Hi-stall TC's.
