I bought a stage 2 EA 2004r build from Lonnie years ago outright.
I've known Lonnie for years but never bought anything from him (didn't need to at the time). He is just a good guy and a real enthusiast. I believe he sent me his own personal 2004r out of his TTYPE! yikes!
So, fast forward 4 years. I've finally got my 86 GN running and too the maiden voyage tonight.
I have to say that the Stage 2 build is the nicest shifting transmission I've ever had. As good or better than my electronically shifted 4l80e. Quick and firm shifts and did not miss a beat. I don't think that I've actually driven or ridden in a turbo buick that shifted this quick and clean.
I can't wait to get this thing under power to see it take some power and keep the tires roasting.
