Let the killing begin the kill section has been really quiet since your misshap with the GN get on it boy..![]()
Tim I have discussed your case with mike extensively & am pleased with the progress. My conclusion is to stick with the stock Maf for now as you search for the right pieces to someday try. Bring me your old one & I will loan you another to see if it corrects the problem that was indicated. How many as yourself have that come to me & just wanted reliable transportation . This now is rapidly turning into a race car situation. Your aging father is remiss to understand this logic & how long before a roll bar is required.
Yes you have a good friend In Mike. Whenever your Buick is sick he persistently nags me on your behalf to fix it & makes excuses for your malfeasance's as one would protecting a delinquent child.Nah....I resolved to be a kinder, gentler meanchicken.
Lasted as long as all my other resolutions have....right up until some kid in his
Mustang GT decided to challenge the Dark Side this morning.
It was over as soon as it started, and I let out before I even hit 60.
I was more interested in this M5 that was near by, but that snitty M5 driver wouldn't play.
Thanks, Lou.
As always, your support is appreciated.
My goal all along was to have a high 11 low 12 daily driver that was reliable and I'm confident that I have exceeded that goal.
Before I make it any faster, I'd want to work out the suspension for better traction control and also go through the diff and beef it up.
I have no desire to cage the GN, so 11's are good enough.
Mike is a great guy. He really takes the time to explain the directscan runs in detail. We finished with a nice safe street tune at 21lbs, that keeps the 02's right around 800 through the run, and the GN is pulling strong. I'm real happy with these heads and cam you installed.
Guestimations based on the data and mph is that I'm in the mid 11 range or slightly quicker with a good launch and 60 foot and room to go faster with track tuning, or if I wanted too...race fuel and boost, etc.
Time to prove it at the track.
I'll swing by your shop this week to trade MAF's.
...and to pay my tithe...

Well he does have female tendencies !So ...since you're my Turbo Buick Papa, and are the strict disciplinarian......since he nags and he protects me like a delinquent child that'd make Spoolfool2...my Mama:biggrin:
