For not taking my drivers wrist band after I clearly went faster then I should have without a roll bar....lol

One down, one to go

It was nice to finally get my Black Beast down to a 6.96 sec pass at 100.53 mph last night at Irwindale (24 lbs boost)

I was kinda worried after passes of 7.04 and 7.15, but the 3rd pass was the charm

I think that I need to work on my suspension (QA1 shocks, remove front sway bar, set pinion angle) to correct my slow a$$ 60 foot times though (1.62 sec)

Now I wait for the next open track day at California Speedway to see if i can back up the 6.96 sec 1/8 mile run with a legitimate 10 sec 1/4 mile pass

Once that happens, I'm SELLING it and buying a PRIUS...or a SEGWAY people mover and adding a turbo to it.......Ha!

My thanks to everyone at the track with their kind words of encouragement and advice. It was great seeing everyone again.

Thanks again to Mark for filming everyones runs for the next highlight CD

Also, Congrats to Brent on his 7.3 sec. run last night. He keeps getting faster and faster. Can't ya give an old man some breathing room......lol

congratz again you've worked so hard to get there! But unfortunatly, your gunna hve to sell it now....Your real dream (as stated) can be a reality! 3 links for you buddy! But before that, I got your 6sec run on tape, so it will be on dvd soon probably after next weeks runs!

The Blitz(japan) Turbo Prius scroll down for pictures http://priuschat.com/index.php?showtopic=8517&hl=blitz+turbo
And heres the diecast to back it up  http://cgi.ebay.com/Tomy-Diecast-Ca...us-Hibrid_W0QQitemZ260021927790QQcmdZViewItem
O YEA RAY; in Japan and Euorpe the Prius PARKS ITSELF! No joke, no hands, no feet needed....no BS! checkit out for yourself http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hbVHnNNEZ_s&mode=related&search= and here's another http://www.local6.com/news/8458908/detail.html This is already out on my model prius and will be standard on the next generation prius...the one I was telling you about with a projected (offically by Toyota already) 95-100mpg!!! Thats right 100mpg car! Definitly not tryin to jack thead but, I know you love those Prius's guys haha, and dont be hating I'm the only guy in America that still goes "Can I have 5bucks on number 1 please" @ 3.XX a gallon with 5$ i can garuntee over 50 miles ;)

Enough prius BS! Ray, I would love to get your take Ray on the suspension adjustments your planning to work with. I was telling brent I think he could use a lil more suspension tuning because it seems to be so crucial. I was thinking about it so much after seeing some of those runs the past few weeks and EVERYONE is complaining about 60' times. And with as much weight as your 60' times carry, im surprised its not more of an addressed issue. Im particularly intersted in how your planning to do the Pinion Angle messurements, and adjustments. CONGRATZ AGAIN ON THE TIME! I bet your happy with those dyno run's before Irwindale huh? Good luck.

Mark

Brent also ran incrediably well! Same for you goes for him, all runs on video and will be handed down. Hey buddy some more playing around, and defintly some fuel tunning you'll be there! Those suspension adjustments could help too. Just find the right way to get all your parts you have on that car to ALL HOLD HANDS and you'll be straight!

I can't believe thats a stock 150000 block, its truly amazing.

Both of you guys are real class acts! A pleasure to know you guys. And its an honor to get video for you guys while I can. Cus I can't video if I'm driving!!!

Great job Ray... just fattin up the area on the FAST where you were spooling up and you should be SET  .. you had great A/F on the rich side all the way down the track, you have a nice set-up on that GN...

WELL, if you would have heard the car pinging during the launch and then reviewed his run and saw the 13.to 13.5 A/F. You would have stated the same thing... BUT I COULD BE WORNG, AND MAYBE THATS WHY YOUR SH** IS BROKEN  .

"MAYBE" I just mis-read your statement.

no problem... Ray's car was tuned on the safe side, 10.40's to 10.90's A/F in the mid and upper RPM's.. only in the low RPM's under spool up did it hit 13's, but the FAST system added fuel after the fact.

The only thing up my sleeve right now is work. I been haveing too much fun & getting backed up.
Trying to hang with the youngsters is putting me behind.Had to order a new turbo for my regal.I loaned mine to under boost brent & he won't give it back. His new name now is over boost. Also waiting on parts for the TT V/8 & should be back to Irwindale for some more joy rides in a couple of weeks. Lou

No, Lou, I know from previous experience that when you get quiet like this, you are up to something. Actually, you have at least 1 trick up each sleeve. Let's start with the sleeve that has a new low mileage (30K miles)white turbo-t up it that you are forgetting to tell me about in hopes of getting it sold before I hear about it. Is that new white turbo-t out of Las Vegas or Phoenix? You been hanging around with Len Freeman or Nick Micale, haven't you? Remember: He who tries to kill 2 birds with 1 stone, generally misses both birds. Ok, Lou, your turn. What's up that sleeve, Lou? Cough it up or forever hold your peace.

What White Turbo -T? Not true !

No Gary! I've not been deceiving or sneaking around behind your back. I'm the worst at keeping secrets. Especially from you. No one has the ability to lie or deceive you. Rumour has it that you received counter espionage training by the CIA. Besides that Len thinks I'm mad at him & is me avoiding right now. But that is fruitless cause so far he's the only one I found that can make these 200r4's work & last. He can run but not hide forever. Cause I will hunt him down like the dog that he is & the beatings will continue untill the attitude improves. Regards Lou
