Just got done with replacing the rear main seal, oil pan gasket, and intake gasket and seal. Did the plugs, wires, and fuel pressure regulator while I was at it 
Drove it around for the first time today since the work. Ran for about 30 minutes and had it up to 8psi a 3 or 4 times (walk before you run). It's been in the garage, bone dry for the past 6 hours! Yippee.
Anyway, thanks to everyone at turbobuick.com - this forum is a wealth of knowledge and was enough to get a novice like me through this procedure. Fuel pump and hot wire kit before thanksgiving if all goes well. Thanks.
