The GTA rims are diffrent offsets..........front and rear.

The fronts will fit ( some use spacers but not absolutely necessary ).

Rears MUST use spacers.

Little more specific for ya: Either get ahold of (4) fronts. Or install the GTA fronts on the rear of your Buick (no spacer) and the rears on the front with the 7/16" spacers. This is the way it is done.
When installed this way it looks as if it was meant to be. The fronts have a deeper dish (bigger lip) than the rears, and just plain look right on the back of our cars. The rears have a smaller lip, so they look just right up front.

I don't see why it would be any worse to use .5" thick wheel plus a 7/16" spacer than a 15/16" thick wheel, at least with conical lug nuts.

Those dimensions are just an example. I don't know the actual specs, but do know that my aftermarket aluminum wheels are significantly thicker than the original factory steels.

Not using spacers on the axles, just up front. See configuration explained above.

I don't think 7/16th spacer on the front will be enough to clear the tie rod end with GTA rears. I have IROCs on my wife's 87 NA regal and I have at least 9/16ths worth of spacers with a rear wheel on the front. IROCs and GTA/TTAs have the same offsets. Get four fronts!

I have this configuration on my car. I do believe they are 7/16" spacers, which is just what the guy that I got the wheels from was using on his GN. Is there a better size spacer to use? I dunno. I can tell you that the inner edge of the rim, not the tire, rubs the back of the upper a-arm slightly when turning the wheels as tight as possible. They do not rub the tie rods, etc. and again, the tires do not rub. I have had mine like this for quite sometime with no issues. John's point is valid as far as possibly a different size spacer would be better, and of course 4 fronts would be ideal. However its not that easy to get 4 fronts, but if you can..... do it.
If you wind up using spacers, why not ask a reputable wheel/tire guy and see what he knows. Theres a guy I know around here that has all that info in his head. Hes dealt with just about any wheel/tire configuration you can think of.

7/16" will work, but its close on the tie rod. I have been running spacers on my T-type for over a year now with no problems.

NOTE: I ground on my tie rods just a little bit to get some additional clearance, never had a problem. HTH

Says to me 7/16" won't work without some modification.

I'm using the fronts on the front with no spacers and the rears with 1.5 wheel adapters. I have a 255/50/16 tire on the back and 245/50/16 up front and it looks great.

They fit without the tie rod modification, trust me, drove like that for over a year and just recently ground on the tie rods while doing Bell Tech Drop Spindles. On stock front suspension it works just fine.
