When GMP made the model of my car there was a process that took place for creating the most correct appearing vehicle as possible. First I supplied them with pictures of the car so the prototype vehicle could be made. After the first prototype vehicle was made it was sent back to me for review, as you could see in the prototype vehicle the louvers were missing
. After I sent them a list of revisions a second model was made and the “0” model was that vehicle. After this vehicle was approved the models were then mass produced for sale. I did not get any money for this but I was able to buy two cases for cost. I was very happy with the result and one of the coolest things on the vehicle was the revisions to the headlight tooling to represent the expanded metal grille used in place of the high beam headlights.
Epitome exclusives made a wonderful lithograph that represented the vehicle and I was asked to sign several hundred of lithographs for them. What you see is the display that I took with me to the national when the models were introduced. It was with great pleasure that I signed as many models as possible that were sold at that event.
