Your going SMOKE that iroc! I've read some of your other posts and it looks like you have a real fun car coming soon. Once you upgrade your turbo, ic, and injectors you going to have give up a qurter of the track just to make fun. Your dad would be proud.

If you really want to piss the dope off, play it cool and keep your mouth shut. When you get your car done, get in on that bet, double or nothing. That poor IROC doesn't stand a chance. You can make some easy cash on that. Just make sure you do at a track with plenty of witnesses and video it. Play it over and over to your father in law. He'll never mention his car again.

Thought I would give ya'll an update on this. I sure haven't got my apology yet...BUT...I did find out why he seems to think the way he does. Apparently "my car isn't fast because its a V6, and he's been around cars his whole life and GN's aren't anything special...just another car, still thinks it'll blow up (now it's because I can't drive)". As an added bonus, he now has "money" on it that Kyle's car will be faster than mine.
OMG! What a jerk! Kyle's car is a 1988 IROC. Small block (350). Nothing special really...well, put it this way...there's 15K+ in the car and it STILL run 15's because it was his first build...didn't know what he was doing. So there are good parts in it, just not the right combo. I've got a leeo tranny...and much done to the engine (to the tune of $10K). Still have the stock turbo and intercooler, but 42# injectors (for now). I'm no genious, but even with that extremely limited information, I 'd be willing to bet most on here would say I would hand the IROC it's rear on a shiny silver platter. Ignorant people make me mad...cocky, arrogant, jealous ignorant people make me want to prove them wrong!!!

I hear crap about my car all the time, just gotta brush it off and use the insults as incentive to make the car that much faster. If you really want to stick it to your father-in law DONT GIVE HIM A RIDE IN IT.
