Whats up TurboBuick.com. Looks like I will be posting some questions very soon, because I will be restoring a 1986 T-Type.
It happens to be my Dad's car, but he knows nothing about the Internet and doesn't know where to begin with repairs. Here is the details on the car. He bought it back in 1989 when I was 12 yrs old. Needless to say I fell in Love with the car. It only has 71K miles, and is in awesome condition for its age, but the engine needs some attention, because it is all stock and has never been touched. I'm a F-body guy mostly, owned about 6 of them, but I just love Turbo Buicks. I got a thrill each time I drove it, and eventhough I had a 99' Z28 that was pushing 360hp, something about that Turbo is addictive. Anyway, I'm going to need some help, so be on the look out. I will drop an extensive thread later on about what is going on. Can't wait to get this thing running like it was when he bought it, maybe even better. :D :)

You're in the right place to get your questions answered.

Good luck and welcome to the "Dark Side". :D

Welcome aboard!

I think you'll find this board will serve you very well with any/all of your questions regarding future mods to your car.

You will be astonished with the hp gains you will get with just the free mods alone, and just imagine when you start doing the bolt on's.

Just do your home work and do it right the first time:)

Welcome aboard.

What are the plans for this car? Modifications? Keep all original? How does the car actually run? Well?

As many have said, the board and internet is very helpful with these cars. Might I suggest you state your location so you can find people local to you who can also help to get your fathers car in the best possible condition.

Have fun.

Thanks Everybody. I will try to get some pics soon and I will be posting extensive info later today. :)
