Got some old touch up paint. It comes in a bottle....think it's plasticote. Like it better than the pens. It was a thinner paint. The old touch up paint is really thick now. Can I thin it out with some stuff laying around. Hot some rubbing alcohol, ethanol, paint thinner (mineral spirits). Know I can use some automotive reducer but if I go that route I might as well as buy a new bottle. They are hard to find here in Hawaii, would have to order it. Dont have the patients.

Not an expert by any means but I believe it depends on what kind of paint you're trying to thin. I think most touchup paints are lacquer based and I have used lacquer thinner in the past with no problems (not on the GN but on other cars). Not sure how it would react to paint thinner though as the flash times are very different. You could always experiment and find out.

Lacquer thinner not paint thinner like I said wrong!!

Id use lacquer thinner and only lacquer thinner. Don't think mineral spirits would work out well. Swing by a body shop that's not run by assholes and they should be able to give you a splash. Bend a v in a spray can lid to pour it in. I have over 200 bottles in my touch up collection at work. Threw away about 75 that were hard before I had laquer thinner available.
