Think a TE-64 will fit

I would like to go with a TE-64. I have intake clearance but am wondering if the wastegate is going to clear. I am making a mach thdp.

I doubt the wastegate would fit without modification but I'm sure with a little work on the bracket it would work. When I had a TA64 there were rub marks on my heatshield from the wastegate but I had a big heatshield (no parking sign). I got the external gate the about the same time I decided to have it converted to a TE64. I did stick my dad's T-76 on top of the motor for fun and the turbo itself cleared ok. Out of curiosity, are you using the Precision exhaust housing?

I will probably go with John Craig and take his advice on what to use for an exhaust housing.

I know I will have to modify the wastegate bracket.
