I made this for those that needed help

I know that for some they have no idea what to expect when installing an alcohol injection kit so I put together a photo album of my install. I did this last year so I may have left out a few things. Just follow the pictures in order and read the captions. The installation isn't hard at all, but this page will give you an idea of what is included in the kit, what it takes to install it, and maybe help you avoid some mistakes. (Oh, Red Regal T reminds you that it's cheaper and way better to make the homemade kit) ;)

INFO IS POWER!---POWER TO THE PEOPLE!!

The more info available, the better for all of us!

Thanks, James & John!

Thank you,

Some of the pictures were a bit blurry, but that really gave me a good 'visualization' of both what you did and what other installers are doing. I think this will also help both DIY and other people in seeing the project before tackling it!

Your captions were good...

I'm not familiar with the SMC kit at all as far as install and appearance. So this was educational.

I've thought of taking pictures when working on different projects, but usually I'm too excited to actually stop for the camera.

Thanks again.. good work!

Thanks guys,

I too wish some of the pictures were better but I was also too excited to try out the kit to worry about pictures. Steve has been real helpful when the pressure switch cracked. He has vowed to replace it immediately with a better metal switch. I have a few friends with lightnings that are very curious about the setup, but they are too chicken to be the first lightnings on the block to try it... ;)
