Wondering if there are some locals that can give me input on good neighborhoods and ones to avoid.

I've got 6 cars and need garage space for at least 4 of them. Even considering buying a small industrial building to turn in to a residence and super - garage! (wife is on board with this) :)

I prefer to be away from city or tons of people. Don't need to be on the water. Just looking for something decent that's not going to cost me a million bucks.

Anyone have any thoughts, tips, ideas?

BTW, I used to live in SW FL- I already know it's hot as hell. (just trying to be closer to elderly parents)

How close do you need to be from them? Move to the sticks, either North or South of them and avoid the congestion and overpriced real estate along with the "benefits" of diversity.

Job is in St. Pete. Folks in the Cape. 2 hours is closer than where I am currently.

Well, maybe South of St Pete over the Skyway bridge toward I75, I'm sure there's something if you don't mind the rush hour commute.
