I was raised military - we were stationed in Okinawa. my Mom "aquired" a seal point siamese from "somewhere" on the island.
Anyway - to date, it's the biggest cat I've ever seen (not counting the one in the pic...it looks bigger) especially for a Siamese.
This cat weighed in at 32 pounds and NOT fat...just big and vey lean. Its fangs hung out of its mouth about an inch and a half (like a sabretooth) and it had a low gutteral rumble instead of a growl...it really didn't "meow" either...just that rumble/growl sound...I have an American Staffordshire Terrier (a tall pitbull) @ 85lbs and this cat was the same height & length...people ran in fear when ever they would see this cat at our house...

We had a "cat breed specialist" look at him and he seemed to think it was the byproduct/leftovers of an old siamese strain that was bred to protect the temples...

Funniest thing was, if you did something to the cat (say, walk by and kick it) he would slowly stalk you for hours/days until he could give payback...it usually resulted in some blood and tears...

He lived to be mid 20s...long live Thomas...I'll have to see if my Mom has any pics around.

Don't get confused guys. A liger is when a Tiger and Lion mate, yes huge but the other picture is a dam house cat.

I think some people under estimate regular house cats. I have seen normal size house cats tear a decent size dogs ass apart. This thing would put a beaten on you.

I would put money on the cat providing the chimp did not get his hands on the cat. Cats can be very nasty, jump high are very fast and have huge razor sharp teeth.

I would think if the chimp got whacked a few times in the face by 2 inch razor sharp claws it would find someone else to beat up. Like a human

My friend has a German Shepard and this local cat tore its nose just about off its face in a fight and then climbed up a tree. Needless to say the dog was bleeding and whining all over the place, so I could imagine the ass whooping this huge house cat could put on someone

Yeah...I have to agree...

The chimp and the cat would probably put a horrific beating on any one of us....

But I think the chimp would put a huge beating on a cat...I wouldnt even think that the Big sucker pictured above would stand a chance against a chimp.

Depending on the type of cat, and its size, I believe that it could out maneuver and hurt a smaller chimp if it came down to it.

I can agree with that... I have personally seen our neighbors two pitbulls tear a cat in half and then throw what was left of the cat around like they were playing with a toy! Pretty damn brutal not to mention disgusting (I almost lost my lunch)

i have a male and female, the male is good with people, and kids but HATES other animals, it doesnt matter what it is he will try to kill it, i seen him get ahold of this cat and he damn near ripped its head off, he locked down on that cats neck and was slamming his head back and forth with so much force that cat was dead in a matter of seconds, but he continued to throw the cat around for another couple of minutes before he come to the conclusion that he had f'ed it up enough
