ok this is the thing i have got a rebuilt transmission with blue cltches and all good parts. and i took the t to the track a few weeks ago i changed the tranny and the converter is one i bought from APD here in atlanta i dont know if its for a stock buick regal or a stock gn. i slowed down fastest pass before tranny and converter 8.03 at 84mph with 1.8 60 ft. recent was 2.1 60ft and 8.7 at 82 mph. think my conveter is for a stock gn or regal will it make that big of a difference. do i need a bigger stall for a 34 turbo or what i am thinking about going with a 2800-3000 stall converter and seeing if that helps but if it doesn't will a stock reman teanny hold a 3000stall and a te44 turbo?? any help would be great.
