Thrasher chip

i was wondering what the stutter option is on the stock 92 thrasher chip. i'm having a problem with a thrasher chip i just installed and my car is totally shutting off around 2300 RPM's...i was reading about a stutter option????

The stutter option is designed to allow the car to launch at the same boost pressure everytime. By holding the foot brake and snapping the throttle up to @ 3/4 pedal, the stutter is designed to kick in and limit the RPM. You then adjust your boost to set the optimum launch for your car. It should not cause your car to shut off.

Does the VSS work????

If the VSS( vehicle speed sensor) isn't connected the Thrasher chip will go into stutter mode because the Chip isn't receiving the vehicle speed. The chip thinks the car isn't moving so it goes into stutter mode.
