thrasher chips & 009s

Are the thrasher chips compatiable with 009 injectors or do i need an 009 injector street/strip chips? thanks

They are not compatible. Thrashers are just for stock injectors for the most part. I think they might be available for blue tops, not sure. You need to get someone else's chips that are made for the 009's.

Bluetops and Stock injectors only. Mike Savino made a few for 50# MSD's a few years ago for kicks, but I'm sure those are all in peoples gloveboxs by now.

You might check with Scott Simpson. Someone claimed they had bought a 42.5# Thrasher recently. Not sure if they did or not but they believe they did.

Yes, I do have a street and a race "development" version of the Thrasher for 009 injectors. The chips do not have all the neat Thrasher stuff like anti-theft, lean cruise, or gear-dependent timing but do have the smooth open loop idle, etc.

I used to sell them to friends only. I sold one to someone that wasn't "in the circle of friends" and he asked the people at Thrasher if the chip was any good. Well the people/person at Thrasher publicly posted a disclaimer that they don't claim the chip to be a "real Thrasher" cuz they never finished the tuning with it for those injectors. However, I have sold these chips to several people recently and have received no complaints (and two compliments). So, WTF, Thrashers are now available for 009 injectors.

Any word on how much timing is thrown in there? Plus, what octane levels are you offering for the 009's? 92, 100, 108?

Street chip is a 92 octane chip and the Race chip is a 108 variant. There are no options to choose from on these chips. They are as listed above.
