what does this do??? i have ready and found that some people do this.

Keeps hot coolant from heating up the throttle body. Most people just loop the hose or you can plug up the hoses with a small piece of rod to keep the coolant from circulating. Not sure how much it really helps but it can't hurt!
Hot water from the cooling system is pumped through the throttle body. It is designed to heat up the throttle body for cold weather driving. By bypassing the throttle body's coolant lines, the throttle body stays cooler and gives a slight power increase.
