Throttle body intake porting

I am considering having my T.B. enlarged and having my intake ported, is this a good idea? my car is currently a high 11 sec.
(estimated) and would like to know if it would yield a noticable improvement.

GREAT IDEAS!

Everything that assists/improves air flow/volume helps!

What is also a big plus for these mods is they're two of the most inexpensive you can do!

Thanks two lane, two other questions will this cause problems with my RJC pwr. plate?
Or can i use it with the moded intake, also can the plenum be modded as well?
