Throttle body question

I am new to the turbo Buick life. I bought a 1985 T-Type that a mechanic hacked together. I’m trying to fix it. My throttle body has what looks like a vacuum port on the forward facing side of the throttle body, nothing is hooked up to it. Can anyone tell me what is supposed to be attached there?

More than likely its a water port to heat the air coming into the throttle body. It was designed to help with emissions.

Take a pic of it and post it if you like.

Yep.....A lot of guy's disconnect that. It's not needed.
