Im looking at shaving the two brass tubes off that stick out in the inside of my throttle body for the idle air valve, this wouldnt affect or hurt anything would it? Also what is the Throttle Position Sensor supposed to read for volts at WOT?

i think i heard someone say they pulled that brass piece out ? may be wrong dont remember.

I shaved mine down. No idle problems but with an open K&N filter, it seemed like the air rushing noise was a little louder on cold starts.

Go ahead and pull 'em out. Those are there so the motor can get air by the tb plate in an idle situation. I used some penetrating oil and let it soak for awhile. I then used a socket to beat them out from the backside. The part of the tube that is in the tb has knurls in it so be patient, it'll come out.........good luck

i was recently ready about some stuff and found the voltage readings but thanks for taking your time to post
