have new turbo on, adj fpr on the way, now TB issue. i have a new turbo te44 and it sounds like my wife's vacuum. plastic tube intake with with kn cone filteron the end. so was thinkin need new throttle body? is there something i can do to the one i got but i have the turbo from 87 car with 3" flange on compressor, so i made a flange to bolt to the back of the tb out of 3" pipe and flat plate welded them together cut the center out of the plate to 2 3/4" (larger than tb) then i used rubber connector and banded the 2 togetherfrom the tb to the turbo. so long story short what can i do to improve the air flow, is there a plug and play throttle body? like will tb from 87 work. i will post pics of the set up tuesday but maybe some thoughts on better air for this set up. thanx for your guys help i would be lost without it as the cars are a puzzle try-ing to be unlocked! thanx Jay

Most machine shops can bore the stock throttlebody. You have to put a plug in one of the bosses on the outside because this is a thin area and you will go through. I wish I could be more descriptive but I'm sure someone here has pictures. It needs to be bored to the size of the turbo inlet.

is the 87 TB any better & will it plug and play? or do i have 2 change wire harness and 87 ecm? or is boring the best way to go?
