tick tick....new cam and valvetrain?

I have a ticking valvetrain sound that does not seem to affect performance at all..but I am sure it can't be good.

I would like to eliminate it, I was thinking of a new cam, lifters, pushrods, rockers and springs.

I have seen many posts about junk cams

I figured this to be a way to eliminate the variables- if i go this way any recommendations? I have always had great luck with comp cams....and what type of grind?

Or, does anyone else have some suggestions?
