time is way off on here now

normally to be right its -5 hours for east coast

Mine's set to Kaliningrad South Africa.. And it's still 4-5 minutes off..

THE GOOD NEWS IS:

There are more than a dozen free Atomic Clock programs available that would continually adjust the time to within
a .0000000000000000000000009 of a second, and the
board clock would be set *perfectly* forever.

THE BAD NEWS IS:

We made the identical suggestion over a year ago.

I think its kinda funny that I had to set it to africa time to get it close cause riding around this area is starting to look life africa too

Sorry all. I will talk to the site admin to get it corrected. First time i have heard of this myself. I think it is set to Bruce's timex which he got as a child. Think he may need a new battery. Mark

I had mentioned this earlier on the suggestions board. The hour situation wasn't fixed, and I was just told to 'adjust'. However, when I made mention of it, the minutes were also WAY off. I can gladly say since the changing of the gaurd, the minutes were fixed. So, I just adjusted the hours and left it at that. I forgot where mine is set to.

It might have been set wrong in the board admin area, I don't think it is based on the server clock itself.

Whoever has admin access, it is in the main VBulletin Options category, under "Date / Time options" as the first option to change. Make sure that is set to "Central Time" or whatever it is supposed to be. Then everyone goes into their control panel and and into "Edit Options" and changes their "Time offset" to whatever their time zone is.
