Tint on side mirrors

Just picked up a 99 Buick Regal LS and the original owner tinted the side mirrors with an amber colored tint. It's starting to flake. What's the best way to remove the tint without damaging the mirror. Thanks

Try some Dupont Chrome Polish or Mothers Mag Polish.

Either should be available at AutoZone or Advance.
