I purchased a very nice 87GN last year and I have been told not to tint the windows because it brings down the value. Is there any truth to this? I just think they look meaner with tint.
Please help.

I bet the value of the car wont be very good when the interior of your car is all faded with the Texas summer sun.

Tint.. just do it.

Removal

Will the tint come off easily, or will it be a problem when trying to remove?
Thanks for the replys!

They sell kits at walmart that can take it off. I've never done it, but it seems easy.

I removed all the tint off my WRX with a steamer. It wasnt bad. Thats really the only way to do it. If you try to just peel it off, you end up with adhesive on the glass which is a bitch to get off.

i took some out before i think i just peeled it and use rubbing alcohol to clean the window.

Unless your car is pristine and 100% stock, there is no reason not to tint from a value perspective.

You will be much happier you did it as it looks better, keeps the car cooler, protects the inside from sun damage, and keeps nosey passers by from looking in.

Never hurt me at a car show when I had my GN. If anything, it added to the look of the car because the it was hard to tell where the glass stopped and the paint started.
