I am in the market for a couple rear tires this spring and i'm looking to get some of your guys ideas/pros/cons on what to look at brand and size wise. I'm presently running 255/60/hr15. Thanks for your ideas.

I prefer Sumimotos, or Yokohamas. They're pretty cheep, they perform well, and they look awesome!

Sumimoto:
HTR Z - These are pretty cool and they come in the right size for your rims.

HTR Z II - If your willing to upgrade your rims to 17's these are some choice tires! Ive got them on my car right now.

Yokohama:
Avid S/T- These are good tires and they are very cheep!

AVS Sport- These are sweet tires, but youll have to get bigger rims to run them...

Oh, a little info on tire width...wider is not always better (except for slicks). It has to do with the weight distrabution on the tire. Wider= less psi = less traction. Narower tires get more street traction. I would suggest 245 as a good width. Not too wide, but not skinny donuts eather.
