To add timing or not to add timing...

I'm at 27 degrees in 1st and 2nd gear. No sign of knock at 25psi. And haven't touched the Alky knob. It's still at 12 o'clock position. EGT's are at 1470.

Also, should I give it timing in 3rd gear or is it better to leave it alone?

I would just say the odds of popping a headgasket goes up if something goes wrong or worse yet a bearing.
