Tons of false knock at idle

Just changed over to E85. New chip from Turbotweak. Installed everything, using translator with Z06 MAF set to 85mm in translator base. Car idles great, learned quickly but has anywhere from 8 - 13 retard at idle. I have reset the ECM twice, checked downpipe clearance, nothing audible either. Caspers knock gauge shows nothing. I have a code 43 instantly after ECM reset. Again, car idles great.

I used to have a MaxEffort Mafless setup and am still using that ECM. It had an added MAP sensor harness that replaced the stock one. I unplugged it and plugged the stock MAP sensor connector back in. I do not have a boost solenoid hooked up at the moment but I have no code for it either (no idea where I put it, still searching for it).

I got no false knock with the MaxEffort setup so this has to be related to this change. I did have the exhaust off to cleanup the floorpans over the winter but everything has plenty of clearance.

I am stumped.

Just changed ESC module, no difference. Checked B7 yellow wire at ECM, looks good.

One thing I noted, after ECM reset, when I start the car it idles fine with no KR. Then the KR starts and idle drops, likely due to reduced timing. I can rev up engine and it is smooth as glass, just 8.4, 12,2 and 13.4 KR showing.

Still stumped but it will get fixed sooner or later.

I disconnected my Casper's Knock Gauge to backprobe the yellow wire and the KR went to 0.0. I have no idea why but at least the car is truly not knocking. Now I have to find out why that is happening. Good grief.

Figured it out. I had the pillar pod out and the signal wire slipped off the gauge and was grounding. Problem solved. Thank the lord it was simple.
