don't do it..... trust us, it will take for ever to get it

Personally I never had a problem with Tony. I do understand others did though.

My first I.C. was his V2...ordered it and received it in a normal time frame directly from Charged Air. My second one from Tony I walked up to him in BG in maybe, 2001 or 2002, paid him $1100 and walked away with a V1.

Chris,

I'm with the masses on this one. I bought a few IC's from him back in the day and every one came with some saga attached to it. He made nice parts but he was always a $hitty businessman.

I bought a V-2 at BG in 2000 from Mike Licht, $40/50 cheaper than Tony was selling them for at the same event ???
At Bristol #2(2001)?, Tony was set-up, and I ordered a V-1.
He wrote it down on an order form, I still have the copy.
I wanted coated pipes and a MAT bung.
He said there would be a wait for the coating guy, I said no problem.
He took my credit card #.
I called him after a while, they were working on it.
I saw him at BG the next year, he remembered me and would check on it.
I thought some thing would happen, it never did.
I saw him at BG the next year, one of my buds was buying a Radiator from him, Tony had to run down to Kip's spot and bring it back to Tony's vendor spot. They were gone 20-30 minutes, he asked me to keep an eye on his spot, ok, I'll wait for you. My bud got his radiator, I got to watch over Tony's spot. A few lookers came by.
I never got my V-2 from Tony.
He never charged my credit card :) .
Maybe he lost that order pad from Bristol  .
I found a V-1 locally.
I love it. I'll never look back.
I've thought about selling it, and stepping up, but can I step up?
At BG 2006, MAT creeped to 95 degrees at the end of 10.61/127.85 run.
I think I'll just keep it.

Even Charles Manson could get 2 or 3 people in the world to give him a good reference....

I bet you probably had the one budget roller cam that didnt self destruct as well???

I know you were just relaying your experiences. Just still irks me to see that name come up and someone wanting to send him more money.... :(

He's now "entropy" or some similiar name.

He sells stuff on eBay quite a bit. In one of his descriptions he stated to overlook his feedback as he had built up an inventory now and could ship right away.

I tried him for valve covers and fell into the trap everyone was talking about.

Maybe he can show up at another Buick event, somehow, I see the lining up shaking hands after a ball game in little legue, but in this case, Tony standing up and a line up of guys taking shots at him.

I am one of the few that received my parts, no problems...

I do remember ordering some 3" tubes from him for my ic. I happened to mention to Louie L., after they came in and him saying that he had been waiting for some time for a set. Hard to figure how his thinking ran, I don't think I would risk ordering from him again, unless he was still comming down this way a lot.
