Can to much Alky cause the car to fall on its face on the big end at about the 1000' ft mark. Seems to pull fine through the 1/8th but a lil past the 1/8 car just falls on its face. O'2s seem to be ok. 740-790's its really inconsistant. I have a PL but it doesnt record Jack half the time, it just stops recording during the middle of the run. Am i spraying to much Alky?

20lbs boost, 18* timing all the way thru. dual nozzle, stock initial setting on PAC box and thumbwheel on pos. 5.5-6. (To my understanding, the numbered knob setting on the controller only controls ramp up not how much alchy is sprayed)

Ive run 106 mph in the 1/8th at the above boost and timing and seems to run fine up to that point but runs like crap on the big end (1000 ft)?

Turned the alcky off and set boost at 15lbs and it seems to pull without falling on its face. (Yes i know i may have answered my own question)

What size nozzle comes with the dual kit and if i just run 1 nozzle, what size should it be? (m15 or m10)

Voltbooster

I'm thinking this may be you problem. I can all most guarentee that your getting way to much ALKY. especially with a dual nozzle set up. Get rid of the Voltbooster, keep the dual nozzle and be done with it. When in doubt, ask Julio at ALKY CONTROL:wink:

I hear ya. I also had a similar problem as you, except I was getting way to much ALKY off the line with a single nozzle set up. The car still put 579 to the wheels though.

BTW nice combo, you can't go wrong with the MaxEffort R:wink:

+1

Do what? Remove my volt booster, or simply use one nozzle? Kinda rather simply put one nozzle instead of mess with the voltage on my pump.

Your the Man, so what should I do exactly? I tried calling, you were a lil busy today;)

So I am spraying to much Alky? And this will cause me to fall on my face after the 8th? Also would this cause any false knock, because i was getting a lil knock on the big end, any where from 2-7 at times? Is this false considering all the Alky im spraying?

Best time to call is in the AM. The worst time is late in the day as shipping deadlines interfere with trying to help. Yesterday I was slammed as I had a Vette install in the AM and a bunch of little stuff to get out in the afternoon.
