The Club is a waste of time.. an amature can get that off with a hand saw.

The Coloum lock is good I use one.

Like others have said if they want it bad enough they can use a flatbed.

What I did with my GN is I took it to work & aimed a wireless webcam out the window with motion sensor to snap photos. It would pop up on my monitor & I could check out who was near my car live & have evidence.

no-nos - That's insane:eek:

Well, at least I'm not the only one that take precautions when it comes to securing their car.

heard from around the way

i knew a guy who jacked car audio systems back in the day and said he would have a crew of 3-4 and have someone with a gun watching the door so be careful. there are alot of things you can use to try and protect your car but if they want it and know how to get it, kiss it goodbye. all the above things help but seriously the only thing that will keep your car in your hands is a garage. i keep my head on a swivel when i drive and take different ways home just incase. i park my car behind 3-4 other cars so they'll have to work at it to take my car. kill switches and stuff help but if you have an alarm put a 2 way remote on it, helps let you know when someone is checkin your car out or testing it for responses to the alarm. dummy kill switches help and that one about the one from the gas pump is a 1st to me. just take it easy because too many people love our cars and would love to catch us slipping at a red lights or follow us home. there are alot of ways to keep your car in your possession but a 2 way remote would help if your in the distance it has to let you know it's being messed with.

Some guy earlier this week down in Otay ,CA broke into a home and wanted the keys to the owner's truck. The owner happened to be an ICE agent and all the crook got was a bullet in the chest....he lived though.

not a very good agent... you shoot at least twice!!!:D

i took mine bowling one night, tied it to a concrete light pole with a logging cable. bowled, came back out, un-tied it and left.
It may have been over-kill (i don't think so for the area), but i've had cars stolen before.

what people don't understand- i do all the work myself. i stay up for days and nights on end (without the help of drugs), spend every spare penny to reach my goals, and will do it, and do it, and re-do it untill i'm happy with the results. they steal a piece of me, my labor, things that money can't replace.

 Back to being on drugs. Some of my wife's brothers were doing some work on my house. They happen to know my neighbor's son. He comes over and tells them that he thinks i know where to get some real good stuff, that i'm always up, and the air compressor is always running. they laugh and assure him that i'm not. i told them that when i'm out working on the car at 3am, i always said to myself that is probably what the neighbors where thinking. but i take naps for 2-3 hours at a time and drink 2-3 pots of dunkin coffee in a 24hour period. besides, i'm trying to get everything done before it gets too cold.

so, now if you've read all this. i hope you feel perfectly comfortable and NORMAL, protecting your car. :p

i've considered buying one those parking boots like the city uses. i've heard they are about 400.00

I would never have thought I'd see someone so parnoid about gettin a car stolen. Not trying to be mean but sell it and get a good nights sleep for once. If I ever get this bad someone please commit me.:biggrin:

do whatever makes you feel good, that's nothing to me, I put the column lock
Coded alarm and it has the LO-JACK EARLY Warning system, I still felt i needed more so i went out and got 2 closed circuit camera's placed it to a small 13inch t.v. in the bedroom and of course, I always have my trusty friends with me

Park the car where your dogs sleep and if someone tries to get them you return fire. I have before and will again. No joking. Your "toys" are nice but I think I may have a few more and none of them are virgins anymore. Controlled fire is one of the best deterents and since I live in the country the neighbors are used to hearing fire from my house. Some of them even come over to join in so the neighbors we don't know stay away. Haven't had a problem so far and the local cops come over once in a while to help "fill the hill" with lead. LOL

Well I know someone's watching me.

"I alwayfeel like someones watching meeee". LOL Sounds like a song. do you have GEICO?:biggrin:

When it comes to G bodies, or any classic, I don't think you can ever have enough protection against thieves.

I loathe that saying. It's such a defeatist attitude.

Lo-Jack is outdated and a waste of money IMO. The local PD has to hopefully have a squad car equipped with a Lo-Jack scanning device and then they drive around randomly hoping to pick up a signal. Completely pointless these days when compared to modern GPS systems that can track your car within 5ft. of it's actual location from any internet browser or even your phone.

thank you,well said.....

dead people don't talk

i don't care what goes on but if someone broke my door down i'd empty the clip in his direction. there'd only be one story, hate to sound like that but seriously if you do something that deserves that kind of reaction then don't be surprised when your in the obits.

I loathe it too, but someone has to say it

Again You may stave off crackheads with certian precautions but the PROS are still gonna get it.. I loathe that part BUT TRUTH HURTS!
