was this at WOT or no? If it was WOT then it could be rich knock because its probably dumping enough fuel in there to run 15-16 psi. If its part throttle its probably cause your not in power enrichment mode yet but running a pretty decent amount of boost
 
part throttle knock is normal, since your pushing a lot of air through the motor but the chip is not in power enrichment so the fueling is a little off, pretty common with the TBs, if you go WOT and get no knock then i wouldn't worry about it

That is incorrect. Any knock (actual knock...not false knock) is bad. There is a tolerable AMOUNT, but it still is BAD. Knock is a combustion event happening at the wrong time. Sustained knock can severely damage an engine in short order.

If its knocking, something is wrong. ESPECIALLY at 10psi. BTW, PE is achieved at MUCH less than 3/4 throttle, so JDS, your statement is not really correct. PE can be achieved as low as 1/4 throttle actually....just FWIW. As long as the MAF isnt maxed, and the target AF is right, the car is still in closed loop and should have control of fuel mixture.
 
I need to take it out for another ride, the only thing I added was a strecthed intercooler, maybe it needs to be buttoned down more.

My bad for for giving false info, i thought it was above 4.00 on most chips where it would go into power enrichment mode and add the extra fueling. What is the TPS range on your chips Jim?

Hooffahh..been awhile since I looked, but I believe it was something like 160lv8 or 60% throttle..... I sometimes moved it from stock, sometimes I left it. Depends on the car, and I dont recall where yours is. If you have DS you can see it commanded. If it really matters, and if I still have your bin file, I can look.

In the stock chip, PE mode will be entered at 45% tps (about 2.4v) or 160 LV8, whichever comes first.

With the addition of the stretched intercooler, you may need to take the fuel pressure up a little, or the chip could be adjusted to add a little more fuel.

Eric I will add some more fpress to it, if the knock is real and go from there.
