well, i bought a 87 white turbo limited about a year and a half ago, never get to drive it because it sits in the garage and the broken cars sit behind it-
its a hardtop with grey cloth split bench, pounds of chrome, cornering lamps and a super clean car!!!
so anyway, i pull the cover off for the first time since JULY 2002, and it looks like a fly desided to poop all over the pass side fender, it actually looked like paint overspray, it was that bad!!!!
so i washed the car twice, and used my water blade to squeege the car off, then towel dried it.
well, that darned fly poop is still there and i didnt want to scratch the white paint using a towel, so i remembered i have this MOTHERS CLAY BAR from at least a few years ago since i saw it last-
i went diggin thru the cleaning supplies and found that ole yellow clay bar in a sandwich bag still soft as new
and got out the mothers quick detailer, shot the fender area and worked the clay bar over that area for about 5 minutes...
WOW, what a releif, now the fender is smooth as glass and no more poop!!!
for anyone who doesnt have a clay bar, you probably should get one for times like this, if i didnt have that bar, i probably would have scratched the surface with towels and cleaners getting that poop off the car-
i purchased mine out of a magazine about 4 years ago, i think WALMART sells them???
thought i would share
