The comment about the GNX's , " many went straight to drag strips " is a little off , more like most all of them went into climate controlled garages is more like it .
Not surprised the TTA is in there , nice they place it second . But IMO , as should , they should have the attraction very close to a GNX , but they don't . As rare as they are , and the impressive duty they had at Indy , they are not getting their spot in the limelight . And by that , I mean the values have certainly not climbed to where you would have expected on such a low production rare car should have . An apple to apple condition/miles 87 GN still out sells a TTA and they made 20,193 ??????
One can predict , but the general public has the final say in what becomes collectable/valuable.

I think it's due to the TTA having a Buick power plant. Don't think the Pontiac buffs like that.

Too bad for them cause the TTA is/was/always will be one of the baddest cars ever built. I can still remember the 1989 Buick GN Showdown at E-Town and the most memorable part of the day was when a local Pontiac dealer brought 2 brand spanking new TTAs on a car carrier. Unloaded them and both cars proceeded to run 13.3s at 103 MPH. What an eye opener that was for me. Bone stock they were running the same ET with a faster MPH than my 87 Limited with a KB chip, K&N cone and gutted cat.

I got a ride in a buddy's TTA and the handling blew me away.....he took a 50 MPH off ramp at 90!!!
