What are the top 5 bolts on's that make the biggest change in 1/4 et? And where can you get them?
 
Downpipe- ATR

Headers- ATR or Poston

Adj Fuel Pressure Reg- Accufab..and others

Walbro 340M Fuel Pump- Cotton's

Slicks- I dunno!

Im sure I forgot some..but ya know!
 
Turbo- more boost

More fuel - fuel pump , reg

free flow exhuast- down pipe, headers

and then slicks are the best mod after these.:D

Open K&N.

FPR

Race Gas

Chip

Tires.

Run good gas all the time and keep the boost around 20 and you will be happy.:cool:

(Provided all factory items are up to snuff.)

Actualy I'll change Tires to Hot Wire the pump and hope it lasts awhile.

Give yourself some time at 20 psi+ and you will be addicted.
 
OPEN K&N,SOME KIND OF BOOST CONTROL,FUEL PUMP,ADJ.FUEL REG.,HOT WIRE. HOWEVER NONE OF THIS WILL DO ANY GOOD WITH OUT A SCAN TOOL.YOU MUST KNOW WHAT YOUR ENGINE IS DOING.
 
hum, im disregarding the "5". every hotair starts like so:

1. walbro pump $60, hotwire$55, and adjustable FPR $65, fp gauge $30

2. k&n $50, preferrably cold air kit.. $15

3. jyp electric fan $20

4. chip (in my case, jc93 17*, $50), 30psi boost gauge $50

5. ATR up pipe $90

6. ATR downpipe $130, open exhaust

7. slicks, 1.7 60fts are good for you.

in my case, the fpr was free, the k&n was free, and the boost gauge only ran me $30 for a carbon fiber 30-0-30...

add to that a good set of plug wires (NOT MAGNECORE), and some NGK UR45's (i think thts the right number)
 
One more thing i would do first,

Tranny cooler and a shift kit so you dont burn the tranny up like i did when you get some more power.:(
 
good idea. oh yea if your stock coil is dead GET A NEW ONE.. dont send it FEDEX though because they suck ass. I have been waiting on an ignition since last friday.. this is ridciulous.

All you guys have hit it on the head; fuel and exhaust upgrades are real noticeable. I finally got my headers, u.p. and d.p. installed and first initial thought was "Is this really my car?" It pulls hard and finally spools. Exhaust leaks really kill these cars.
