I have been prepping my GN for paint and I only now noticed the top body line that runs the length of the car right above the door handle is different on the doors. The rear quarter and front fender have a different angle. The doors have a sharper line. I noticed it while blocking the 2k primer. Has anybody else noticed this?

That’s par for he course when it comes to these cars. My T has original body and a few things don’t line up.

I believe that quite a few came from factory this way. They weren’t the best aligned cars.

Obnoxious gaps, that's a GM thing. Probably the easiest way to detect whether a GM car's been restored or repaired is just by looking at the gaps.

Yup both my fenders have the same line (shape), that is totally different than the doors and quarters. Must have been a worn out mold or something... Mike

I really didn't notice it was that bad until I was stripping the paint off. I am going to soften the door line a little.
