The car is coming together and I just received the PT6152E yesterday. The P&P heads/intake should be here in a week as well. I'm going to get a 3200 stall at the recommendation of a few of you, but I need one that can handle full throttle lock-ups and not cost a ridiculous amount. I found one that might work, but I don't know if anyone has experience with it.

#5X. " Extreme Duty Power Raptor Lock-up " Fits 200-4R transmissions. This is a 9 1/2 inch converter with a 12 inch lock-up carbon fiber clutch rated up to 700 horse power. Can be ordered in stall speeds of 2000 to 4000 RPM. We stock 2600, 2800, 3000 and 3200. Lower 60 foot times and improved quarter mile times, an average of 1/2 second reduction! The Ultimate Top of the Line Lock-Up Converter. Cost $550.00

The price looks good and it seems to be rated for much more than I plan to make. I would just like to find someone that is currently or has used one.

Have you checked on Pat's Converters? I run the 10"/3,200 l/u and it is working well.

i think pats too for that money or if you want to spend a little more the vig. is hard to beat

I was thinking the Vig, but the lockup on a single disc is only 9.5" at most and I killed one when I havd my 99 GT. I also killed a Protorque 10.5" converter clutch. I eventually bought a mulitdisc and it was awesome, but a little pricey. I only spent about 2K plus in converters and I would like not to repeat that.

I was hoping someone would have some input on this converter. The 9X11 converter uses a similar setup with a larger lockup clutch for a reason.

Im runnin a 9x11 for the past 3 yrs , Not much mileage on it but definatly sees its share of abuse and local driving through out the summer heat, Knock on wood no probs
