Torque Converter Lock-up

Guys i need to have my chip ajusted to lock the converter up.What speed should i set it at for a street car...

I use a switch mounted in the car to "force" the lockup while at the track. That leaves the lockup function normal for street use. If you are intrested I will post the pins and how to wire it up. I set mine up in about 5-10 mins. Good Luck Jon Hanson

I like 45 mph with a street chip.

He didn't mention if he was talking about cruise lock or WOT lock.
For cruise lock I like 50. 45 is a bit slow and boggy feeling.

For WOT I set if for about 88-90.

Ditto.

Sometimes I do 55 or 60 for cruise. The Extender chips let you set the lockup just about anywhere you want it for cruise and WOT.
