Quick question: Is the part throttle lockup mph programmed into the chip or is it a mechanical adjustment? I am getting a harsh upshift into overdrive between 45 and 50, and it's only when the torque converter is locked. I like where my part-throttle and full-throttle shifts are. I was just wondering what kind of adjustments I could make as far as lockup is concerned(gear, mph, throttle position)? Any help would be appreciated. Thanksl

Assuming that your transmission is an 1984 & later, the TCC apply is fully controlled via the ECM. Very early 2004Rs had a governor controlled TCC apply valve in the valve body for decision making.

TCC apply adjustments would have to made in the chip.

Thanks, Greg. By the way, it's an 87 T-Type with a new TCI trans and a 10" Hughes 3k stall. I'll just call the local chip burning guru and see what he can do for me. Thanks again.
