I have since finished my tranny rebuild on the 200r4 and went with a tci breakaway (part #242500) torque converter. I have it all bolted back up, bolts torqued and everything works great, shifts great, except.....
There is this rattling noise coming from the torque converter/ flywheel area. It won't rattle right away when you start the car after it has been sitting. once it gets to normal operating temp thats when you start to hear it. it will rattle when idling and once you start moving it slolwy goes away and come back when you get to a stop at a stoplight.
i took the dust cover off thinking that was it but its still doing it.
could it be the TC and still operate fine?
just thinking that maybe someone has had a similar problem in their GN.
