Torque converter slipping??

Problem is if I put any throttle into it the trans seems to just spin, little to no power to the rear end. There is also a groaning sound, from what sounds like the torque converter. Does this sound like it is the torque converter? Never had one go bad on me before.

Well, I adjusted the TV cable and it still has a lot of trouble moving with any power. I just spins most of the time. Once in awhile it graps, but with little power to the tranny or rear end. Torque Converter? IT does seem to be leaking a little.
