I have to install a new idle speed control sensor on a 2001 Tundra. The problem is the holes in the sensor are oblong. You can turn the sensor about a half inch. How do I know where to set the sensor and tighten the screws?

You dont have the best luck with toyo or lexus do you???. Did it throw a code for the IAC? What was the truck doing?

On TechStream they normally show 12% at key on/idle. If you have a normal OBD II scanner, try and find that.

01 Tundra 4.7. I am getting a po505 idle control. We had a spare tps so it was a start but can not figure out how to adjust it. Yes, I was looking at the scanner. I have a percentage but no current voltage. I have a voltage learned which is at .62 now. The tps has 4 wires. 1 wire is for a idle switch. 1 wire signal. 1 source voltage. 1 neg. 12%. Ok. I really dislike working on imports. Thank you.
