TPS Lag?

Hello. Question on TPS information feed. Had Snap-on scanner hooked up, notice that when I snap throttle from idle to WOT, there seems to be quite a lag in the voltage response. I get .42 jump to 4.68, but it takes what I would consider too long to feed the info out. I would say 2-3 seconds after hitting WOT before the voltage changes. Not sure if it is linked or not, but seems that the car tends to flood itself once shot off. On restart several minutes later, exhaust is blue and rich and needs a minute to clear itself out.

Any thoughts?

Blue smoke...oil
Black smoke...fuel
The TPS is fine. Older cars communicate slower to scan tool when connected to the data link.

Sorry, meant black smoke. Deffinetly gas build up. Why would that be?

Leaky injectors would be a good guess. Take the plugs out after you shut off the engine and find which one is leaking.

The reason for the delay is because all ALDL based scan tools there is only one frame of data every 1.5 seconds, so it will take at least that long to display any new data, and depending on timing might take two frames (3 seconds).
