A few months ago I adjusted my TPS to .46 at idle and 4.70 at WOT. But I just checked my tps agian, and most of the time my idle volts are .46, but somtimes the volts at idle will go up to .5, and my wide open throttle volts are only at 4.2. What could cause this, is it a bad tps sensor or did it just go out of tune in the last couple of months.
THANKS

That much variation it sounds bad or else moves around mechanically a lot.

I would try another one and don't go over .44V at idle car running.

Had same problem...

I wouldn't exactly call it a problem, but I had my TPS adjusted at .46 and at idle it goes to .5 most of the time but my WOT volts are around 4.4 or so (which I hear is adequate enough) but just make sure that it's tight and not moving around, or just re-adjust it..and if you have no luck after that I guess you may as well get another one..they're only $24, right??
