replaced my worn out mount with a new piece from gbody parts. problem is the driveshaft now contacts the loop i installed a while ago. anybody have this problem and how did you fix it. thanks

Not sure what brand Brian sells, but I used Anchor and had to remove it cause it raised up the tail shaft of the trans. That caused the exhaust to hit the floor board under the passenger side near the y pipe. Old stock mount is on for now. I doubt you'll have a problem with a nice H&R trans mount though.,but it's pricey:smile:

I had a similar problem after installing the HR trans mount. I bought a new loop and it still hit when I had a passenger in the car. I wound up cutting the loop and making it about 1/2 bigger. That solved the problem

it was the car quest brand and was only 25.00.

where did you cut your loop exactly...it looks like if my bolt holes were elongated i could slide it to the side a little more to avoid contact

I cut the loop part.
Cut the vertical part of the loop and added in some material and welded it back up together. Made it about 1/2 inch taller.
