is this worth it? And is it that hard to install?

More than worth the investment! and very easy to install, you shouldn't have to pull the radiator, usually you can just remove the shroud and top mounting bracket and lean it back enough to mount the cooler in front of it and most coolers I've seen just use plastic ties that mount it to the rad. undo one cooler line insert new fitting and two hoses from them to the new cooler and you just added miles and years to the life of your tranny.
