History, stock GN tranny, local shop rebuild with 9/11 convertor (non billet) stock stall. Convertor is from PTS. a little over one year after the rebuild, Input shaft broke. Out of warrenty period. Paid to have it pulled out, hardened input shaft installed. Also had them check to see if convertor was still good to go. They went thru it, flushed the system, and sent me on my way. the tranny worked fine for about 3 months, but then the tranny started to seem like first gear was slipping a little, and it has gotten worse over the past few weeks. Basically, from a stop, the tranny revs way up before it will shift into second. it's almost liveable if I leave the light at a light idle and slowly give it throttle, it still shift s late, but not at such a high rpm. The other gears seem to be just fine. But if I try to give it any kind of throttle from a stop, the tranny really winds out first before it shifts. I have been easy on it since it has been getting worse the past few weeks. I need it to last until I get a new tranny. The fluid is not burnt, Maybe a stuck valve somewhere??? I really don't know. But this tranny has had one too many rebuilds for my likeing.
I am hopeing the convertor is not messed up, it is less than two years old.
Any ideas??????????????????
Thanks In Advance
